Individual teaching
At the Summer Academy, you can participate in masterclasses for 12 different instruments: piano, organ, harpsichord, accordion, flute, traverso, clarinet, violin, baroque violin, viola d`amore, viola and cello.
State your teacher wishes in the registration form. If you want, you can request lessons from several teachers! If you would like lessons more than 5 x 45min or want to play a second instrument, the price of additional lesson is 55€/45min for those who pay the full course fee. However, we have to use discretion when granting additional hours if the teacher already has a very full class.

Masterclass for composers
In the Summer Academy 2024, Lotta Wennäkoski's master class is offered to professional students of composition. The course meets in groups, and in 3x45 min private lessons. In addition, the course fee includes at least one optional workshop (see Workshops), concert pass to Summer Music events and transportation in Nurmes.
The course has space for only a few students. Places are filled based on applications, but early registration is considered an advantage.
