On the arrival day transportation is available from Nurmes railway station to Hyvärilä scheduled for connections arriving from Helsinki. Students arriving with other connections, please contact us by email at nurmesfestival@gmail.com / text message the course phone (the number will be confirmed later). On the day of the departure there is transportation to both train and bus stations.

The final student concert is in the Hannikainen hall in the Nurmes building on Sunday, 5 July at 11 a.m. Admission to the concert is free.

Signing up for the accommodation takes place on June 27th from 13:00 to 20:00 at the reception Hyvärilä's main building. Upon arrival, you must present a payment receipt for the paid bill for accommodation and meals sent by Hyvärilä in advance. The key to the accommodation facilities can be obtained from the reception upon registration.

Registration for the Summer Academy takes place on June 27th from 13:00 to 21:00 in Pielisareena, where is the Summer Academy's information desk and the base of our course secretaries. 

The participation fee sent in advance must be paid in full before the start of the course. Upon registration, you will receive an info package, a concert pass for Summer Music events, and information about the workshop schedules.

 

The opening ceremony of the Summer Academy providing info about the practicalities of the Summer Academy takes place on June 27th at 21.30 in the barn building of Hyvärilä. 

After the general info, the students agree with their teachers on the times of personal instrument lessons.

The hours of all workshops are scheduled in advance!
