THE SOLDIER'S TALE

What makes us happy? What do we long for and strive for? Does something haunt us until the end? The same story in two different ways - without words in the whirlwinds of dancer Atte Kilpinen's choreography, and then intensely dramatized by actor Timo Vuento. Alongside lightning solos.

Time & Location

Hannikainen Hall, Nurmes House, Kötsintie 2, 75500 Nurmes, Finland

About the event

The SOLDIER'S TALE - and the rest of us too

What ultimately makes us happy? Is pursuing our own interests or looking at the greener side of our neighbor's yard deeply human or an obstacle to it?

What do we long for and strive for? Does something haunt us until the end?

The same story in two different ways - without words in the whirlwinds of choreography by dancer Atte Kilpinen and following, intensely dramatized by actor Timo Vuento. And alongside incendiary solos, reaching into the depths and insides.

PROGRAM:

Lera Auerbach (b.1973): Lonely Suite, op.70 "Ballet for a Lonely Violinist"
