"Runolla päähän!" is singer Anna-Mari Kähärä's concept in which she brings the work of beloved poets to the stage along with changing performers. On stage are Emma Salokoski and Janne Marja-aho, vocals; Niko Kumpuvaara, accordion and vocals, and of course Anna-Mari Kähärä, piano, vocals, and compositions

Rain creates audible darkness


“Runolla päähän” is Anna-Mari Kähärä's concept in which she brings the work of beloved Finnish poets to the stage along with other performers. Kähärä is a versatile composer and musician, whose compositions are particularly inspired by poetry.

In addition to vocal music, she is known for her extensive choral music production, and as a composer, musician, and music producer, also works extensively in theater and film music.


The concert will feature compositions by, among others, the following poets:

Eeva-Liisa Manner, Arto Melleri, Anna-Leena Härkönen, Marja-Leena Mikkola,
