ANTTI HOTTI

Piano

Antti Hotti toimii pianonsoiton lehtorina Sibelius-Akatemiassa. Aiemmin hän on ollut Helsinkin konservatorion sekä Turun konservatorion ja Turun ammattikorkeakoulun pianonsoiton lehtori. Hotti opiskeli Sibelius-Akatemian nuorisokoulutuksessa Meri Louhoksen ja Jussi Siiralan johdolla ja myöhemmin maisterikoulutusohjelmassa opettajinaan Matti Raekallio ja Liisa Pohjola. Hän jatkoi opintojaan Fulbright-stipendiaattina New Yorkissa (Manhattan School of Music) opettajanaan Nina Svetlanova.Hotti voitti 3. palkinnon Maj Lind-pianokilpailussa v.1994 ja v.2002 hänet palkittiin New Yorkissa” Artists International” kilpailussa josta hän sai palkinnoksi resitaalin Carnegie Hallin Weil- salissa.Hotti on esiintynyt useiden suomalaisten orkesterien solistina ja hän on tunnettu klassisen musiikin improvisointitaidostaan.


Antti Hotti works as a piano lecturer at the Sibelius Academy. Previously, he was a piano lecturer at the Helsinki Conservatory, Turku Conservatory, and Turku University of Applied Sciences. Hotti studied in the Sibelius Academy's youth training under Meri Louhos and Jussi Siirala and later in the master's training program under the teachers Matti Raekallio and Liisa Pohjola. He continued his studies as a Fulbright scholar in New York (Manhattan School of Music) under his teacher Nina Svetlanova. Hotti won the 3rd prize in the Maj Lind piano competition in 1994 and in 2002 he was awarded in New York in the "Artists International" competition for which he received a recital at Carnegie Hall. in the Weil Hall. Hotti has performed as a soloist in several Finnish orchestras and is known for his skill in improvising classical music.
